It is always best to pop into your nearest jewellery store and ask them to size your finger. Most jewellery stores will do this for free.

If you live in outer space and you do not have access to a local jewellery store, we have compiled a list of useful tips for you:

SIZING GUIDE:

Always keep in mind that your finger size can fluctuate from time to time. Temperature, weight loss and weight gain are all factors that can influence your sizing results. Your finger size will generally be bigger when it is warm and smaller when it is cold/during the winter.

If you have large knuckles, make sure to account for that so the ring can slip past. Rings slip off when your hands are wet, but slip on easiest when your fingers are dry. Also remember that the same finger on your left and right hands can differ slightly in size.

Please note that Rings & Things cannot be held responsible if you send us the incorrect measurements/size and we strongly recommend getting your finger sized by a professional jeweller. Most jewellers will do this for free.

MEASURING TIPS:

To determine the diameter of your finger, measure the inside of a ring that fits you, making sure you measure straight across the centre of a perfectly round ring.

To determine the circumference of your finger, wrap some paper around it and then measure the paper. Make sure that the paper is flush against your finger.

Don’t measure your finger during the hottest or coldest time of the day.

If you do get sized by a professional jeweller, their measuring device will most probably consist of relatively thin bands. It is therefore better to get a whole range of sizes as thicker rings that cover more of your finger might not feel as comfortable as a thin band (of the same size).

Last resort – Google and download an international ring sizing chart.  You can also pop us a mail. We will gladly assist you.
If you have a problem with an order from Rings & Things, please contact us at info@ringsandthings.co and we will gladly assist you.
